We offer a variety of fishing charter options in the Andaman Islands, India. The various options range from day trips for first timers trolling and bait-fishing through to 6-7 day GT and Dogtooth (popping and jigging) or big game trolling (Pelagic species like Blue and Black Marlin, Sailfish and Yellow Fin Tuna ) all inclusive package adventures including meals, accommodation and transfers. The fishing is based out of Port Blair from the months of September to May with the option to shift base to Little Andaman or North Andaman conditions permitting.
We recommend 4 to 6 day all inclusive trips for offshore fishing and will customize trips to suit specific customer requirements.
Our itineraries for the trips work by taking the moon-phase into account, so targeting large GT and Dog Tooth Tuna on popper and jig are quite real. We have a good population of resident GT and Dog Tooth Tuna in our waters throughout the season and by early November the billfish move in.

Having been operating in in the Andaman Islands from 2006, we have marked hundreds of fishing spots that produce monster fish, giving you an extremely good chance of hooking your catch of a lifetime.
The huge area we have as our sport fishing play ground includes steep drop offs, pristine reefs, ripping currents and crystal clear waters making the Andaman Islands one of the most attractive fishing destinations globally. It is recommended that all guests bring their own fishing equipment, although if this is not possible Gamefishing Asia can rent out gear at an additional price (please inquire when booking). Guests are required to arrange their own Indian visa, their restricted area permit for the Andaman Islands, and travel/medical insurance is compulsory.
The Andaman Islands are best known for explosive surface action with heavy chugging poppers and high octane vertical jigging, the Giant Trevally and Dog-tooth tuna are reputed to win more battles than the angler as you fish the reef edges and jagged drop offs. Troll and live bait for billfish and tuna off-shore or get closer for action with the razor gang.

On arrival at Port Blair you will be met and assisted by our representative, transfer by road to the accommodation at Port Blair (20 minutes by road), rest of the day at leisure getting your tackle set up, meet your Guide and discuss the fishing plan for the next days while you relax.
A typical fishing day will have you leaving to get the best part of the tides in to maximise your chances for success, typical run time to the fishing spots is between 45 minutes to an hour and a half. We have plenty of bottled water, soft drinks and snacks on the boat to keep you energised through the fishing day. We take freshly cooked packed lunches with us on board that our both wholesome and easy to eat on board. We plan our fishing activity for the day to be back at port by 1700 as per the local regulations in place.
Over the next 5 days, you will depart with your boat and crew to the various areas to fish different methods or target your chosen species. At the end of each day, you will arrive back to the location as specified in your service voucher.

Our prices are set for each season, so If you choose to book through an overseas agent or directly through us, you will always get the same deal on your holiday, that’s how we operate to make it fair for our agents and for our clients.
We require a 50% deposit to secure a position on a trip, and full payment is required 2 months before departure for the trip. All monies are refundable subject to our standard terms and conditions.
